Linden Hills Fall Festival returns on Saturday, Sept. 27

The Linden Hills Fall Festival returns on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, from noon to 6 p.m.  at Linden Hills Park. 
A cherished tradition in the Linden Hills neighborhood for the last 50 years, the Linden Hills Festival promises an exciting day filled with activities for all ages. This year’s event will showcase a diverse array of activities, food, and entertainment, creating the perfect opportunity for residents and visitors alike to come together and create lasting memories in the heart of one of Minneapolis' most beloved neighborhoods.
Festival highlights include:
  • Parade of Wheels: Help kick-start the festival by decorating your bike, scooter, stroller, wagon, or wheelchair and making your way around the perimeter of the park at 12:15 p.m. Limited decorations available at noon.
  • Live music: Enjoy performances from local bands and musicians, creating a festive soundtrack to the day’s festivities.
  • Food trucks and beer garden: Pick from a mouthwatering lineup of local food, including Picnic, France 44, Old Southern, Hana Bistro, Broders’, and Adam’s Ice Cream. And enjoy a refreshing beer.
  • Activities for all ages: Partake in the chalk drawing competition, field day activities, kickball games, historical walking tours, and bingo.
  • Mint Orthodontics Kids Zone: A dedicated area for kids featuring inflatables, face painting, balloon twisting, and bubbles. Back by popular demand is Rocket Ball, a fast and exciting new game for all ages, made right here in Minnesota.
  • Silent auction: Bid on items from your favorite stores and organizations. Proceeds support the neighborhood council.
  • Used book sale: Purchase retired library books at this sale. Proceeds support Friends of the Linden Hills Library.
  • Civic and sponsor booths: Learn more about local civic organizations and sponsoring businesses.
“For 50 years, the Linden Hills Festival has been a place where neighbors connect, families make memories, and local businesses shine,” said Molly Binger, the Linden Hills Neighborhood Council’s board president. “We’re thrilled to celebrate this golden anniversary with the community that has supported it for so long.”

A community event, put on by the community
The Linden Hills Festival wouldn’t be possible without the support of dozens of local sponsors. From the silent auction items to the food and drink vendors, kids’ activities and entertainers to booksellers, the festival is truly a community effort that requires the volunteerism and generosity of hundreds of involved community stewards. 
The Linden Hills Festival is organized by the Linden Hills Neighborhood Council (LHiNC), a non-profit organization that serves Linden Hills residents and business owners. Its purpose is to be a voice in civic affairs affecting our community, increase community involvement, and promote social, cultural, recreational, and educational opportunities in the area.
