The Uptown Art Fair will make its highly anticipated return in 2026, reimagined as “Art on the Isles,” a scenic new setting along Lake of the Isles Parkway, marking a major milestone in the ongoing revitalization of Uptown, according to new Uptown Association Executive Director Stefani Pennaz.

After a two-year hiatus, the event returns to Uptown Aug. 7-9, 2026, once again welcoming nationally recognized, juried artists alongside a full weekend of community programming, live entertainment, and local business participation.

This year, 50% of event proceeds will be reinvested back into Uptown through the newly established Uptown District Reinvestment Initiative. These funds will support ongoing efforts focused on beautification, safety, small business support, and district activation.

To support a strong and successful return, organizers are making an investment in both visibility and visitor experience. The Uptown Association has committed $50,000 toward a strategic, multi-channel marketing campaign, complemented by secured media partnerships that will expand regional reach and visibility across key platforms.

“We are not just bringing the art fair back,” said Pennaz. “Between our marketing investment and media partnerships, we’re building real momentum and making sure visitors across the region know Uptown is ready to welcome them back.”

With these efforts in place, organizers are planning for strong regional attendance in the tens of thousands as the fair reintroduces itself in its new lakeside setting.

The 2026 event will be supported by a safety strategy rooted in public–private collaboration, pairing the expertise of Unparalleled Security with local public safety resources.

“This year’s fair reflects a renewed commitment to the overall experience and safety,” Pennaz added. “We’ve taken thoughtful steps to make sure visitors feel confident, supported, and excited to spend the day in Uptown.”

Additional programming and event details will be unveiled soon. The application deadline has been extended to May 15. The event is expected to feature approximately 300 booths.

"The return of the Uptown Art Fair represents more than an event—it signals a broader investment in the future of the district, with sustained commitments to revitalization, community experience, and long-term economic growth," said Pennaz.
