Hwy 280 will reopen in both directions Friday morning, Aug. 21.
Westbound I-94 ramp to northbound Hwy 280 now one lane
Crews have reconfigured the ramp from westbound I-94 to northbound Hwy 280 to limit the entrance onto northbound Hwy 280 to one lane. This new configuration enables drivers from both westbound and eastbound I-94 to merge more safely onto northbound Hwy 280.
Work during and after the State Fair
There will be no significant work on Hwy 280, or any ramp or lane closures during the State Fair. After the State Fair, MnDOT will limit traffic impacts to short-term lane and ramp closures through the fall. Hwy 280 will remain open to traffic and will not be fully closed again this fall.
