Uptown Association was thrilled to receive a donation of 500 free poinsettias from Bachman’s, according to board vice president Judy Longbottom of The UPS Store. The owners of Arizona Taco’s, Marcos and Sheila Ayala, donated space to facilitate pick-ups by local businesses and organizations on Dec. 22. Among those who received poinsettias were the Native American Community Clinic, The Kenwood Retirement community, Mosiac Coffee, Holiday, Osman Cleaners, and Starbucks at Kowalskis, McDonald’s, teachers at Ella Baker School, and officers at the Minneapolis Police Department 5th Precinct.
“We really appreciate Bachman’s generosity and support of Uptown. We look forward to working together to make Minneapolis and Uptown a great place to be and making 2026 an epic year for our shared community!” said Uptown Association Board Member Nicholas Hall of Coldwell Banker Burnet, shown with Longbottom in top left.
